I crushed up a Seroquel tablet, and proceeded to snort it. I passed out for 5 hours. My tablets are only 100 mg (which is not a lot), and I probably snorted 25 mg of it.

I've been prescribed this drug for insomnia. A 10mg dose of Ambien + 50mg of Trazodone never helped me fall asleep.

I think I'm becoming an addict. Addicted to a Bipolar medication..Hah!

To the moron that said Seroquel isn't addictive, you are wrong.

"Seroquel addiction stems from the sedative effect of the drug, when used to treat sleeping disorders. Users have complained that they cannot sleep after they are taken off the drug."

The thing is, Seroquel isn't addictive... its all in your head. And no, your not a bad person just for snorting Seroquel, that wouldnt constitute being bad. You remind me of this guy back in high school that snorted altoids... why? idk

ME A MORON, YOUR THE ONE WHO SNORTED SEROQUEL... HAHA YOU IDIOT. WHAT I MEANT BY ADDICTION IS THAT YOUR BODY/MIND YEARNS FOR IT, NOT YOUR SYMPTOMS COMING BACK... OBVIOUSLY THATS WITH ALL MEDICATIONS THAT ARE USED TO TREAT LONG TERM ILLNESSES. GUARANTEED WHAT YOU MEANT BY YOUR BECOMING ADDICTED TO IT, YOU MEANT AN ADDICTION LIKE TRYING TO GET OFF TOBACCO NOT YOUR SYMPTOMS COMING BACK... AND THATS ALL THAT HAPPENS WITH SEROQUEL. OF COURSE YOUR NOT GOING TO SLEEP IF YOU DONT TAKE IT... ITS A SLEEPING MEDICATION. FURTHERMORE, I CALLED MY DOC TO FURTHER PROVE THIS, AND HE SAID THAT SEROQUEL IS NOT KNOWN FOR THERE ADDICTIVE QUALITIES. LOL YOUR JUST MAD.

You are not a bad person, but you are making foolish choices. Be responsible and mature, and take the medicines only as the doctor prescribes. You are only hurting yourself.

Have you got the guts to admit to your doctor that you are abusing the drugs he is prescribing? If not, apparently you're not only an addict, but a liar as well. Obviously, you are not serious about getting well. You would rather play games with drugs. Does remaining sick get you the sympathy that you crave? If and when you get serious about confronting your mental illness, you will have to participate in your own recovery, and that includes being honest with yourself and your doctor. For your sake, I hope you make better choices in the future.

No, you are not a bad person at all. If you think you are becoming addicted, then talk to the person who precribed it, explain your situation and hopefully your doctor can find something else that works for you.

You were curious, obviously to see what would happen. Now you know, so now you can look to see what you can do about it.

Be careful, look into it, call the person that precribed it, tell them what you did and that you don't want to become addicted to the medicine.

Good luck
peace

Seroquel is a very strong drug,I dont think you are bad I just think you are a little on the stupid side for doing something like this. If you cant be responsible for your meds give them over to someone to handle them and give them out to you.

Sex just for the hell of it is bad... Not to mention you cheated on your wife, and thus your family. Whether your gay or not is not the issue, what I'm worried about is the way you casually write "now I can go back to my normal life with my family" and i wonder how? you betrayed them.

Yes you are a bad person for putting this stuff on the internet and giving other young kids bad ideas on how to be self destructive. If you want to do stupid things to yourself that's one thing but boasting about it in public is really stupid!!!
