I was just thinking about this...and I was thinking to myself(if you do believe in an afterlife), that while it is sad that people die, and death is scary etc...I don't think we can really fathom death until we one day die ourselves, and realize how amazing heaven actually is. Heaven is something that can't even be described fully in words, and someday all of our worries will be gone, and we'll never have to feel pain again. Comforts me when I think about loved ones dying. They are in a better place(Lord willing)!

Death came for me a few times in Iraq, but i kept on, and filled heaven with the souls of many muslims.

The day you're born, you start to die, so why worry.

that"s why people believe in heaven because they are scared of dying. I don"t believe but after watching my first wife die three years ago, I"m no longer afraid. It"s comforting for people to think they are going to live forever but I"m not superstitious.

All humans are natually afraid of death and any that states otherwise is a liar. We all think about our death from time to time, more so as we age. Most people, about age 30-35 come to the realization, that human life on earth does NOT last forever and we will indeed die.

The key is not to allow yourself to dwell on it and become obsessed with it. Just live you life and worry about your death when your time comes. Until then, try not to think about it in excess.

I'm afraid of death and do realize my time will come. I'm 38 and think about more and more as I age. However, I do not let it interfer with my daily life.

I'm scared ,because death is the moment of the truth and reality , after you're gonna stand front of god and question about what you did when you were alive ,and don't forget there is hell and heaven depends on peoples behaviors

I'm afraid of dying in that I don't want to cause my friends and family pain. I also want to live a long and happy life. :) I feel sad when a loved one dies because I'm not going to see them again while I am living. Jesus wept when he was told that Lazarus had died and he raised him from the dead. Christ understood that we should mourn with those who mourn and comfort those in need of comfort.

I'm not afriad of actually dying. I am, however, rather terrified of getting cancer or some other terminal illness and be suffering for months, knowing that I'm dying and there's nothing I can do about it. I'd rather it just be quick and not know when it's coming.

I fear suffering and I would miss my loved ones, but I don't fear death. It has been defeated by the Lord. It is simply the final healing.
