True. The trinity is indeed polytheistic. The trinity is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy spirit. That's THREE Gods, unless I counted wrong.
Nowhere in the Bible will you find this concept of God.
The Illustrated Bible Dictionary records: "The word Trinity is not found in the Bible. . . It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century."
The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits that the Trinity "is not. . . directly and immediately the word of God."
The Encyclopedia of Religion And Ethics records: At first the Christian Faith was not Trinitarian. . . It was not so in the apostolic and sub-apostolic ages, as reflected in the New Testament and other early Christian writings."
L. L. Paine, professor of Ecclesiastical History acknowledged: "The Old Testament is strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a trinity is to be found there . . . is utterly without foundation."
The Encyclopedia of Religion admits: "Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity."
The New Catholic Encyclopedia also admits: "The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament."

Your first problem is believing the trinity is polytheism.
Perhaps if you understood the doctrine and trusted God he could reveal the truth to you. Moses wrote of the trinity God demonstrated the trinity in your creation. Genesis chapter one God says Let US create man in OUR image.Genesis two God formed man for the dust (flesh) breathed in life(spirit) and man became a living soul.. Man was created in the image of God above the animals with an eternal spirit but man is ONE as God is ONE The Abraham you speak of told you God will provide himself a lamb. Isaiah foretold of the Messiah who would atone for sin. Jesus agreed with the prophesies of Isaiah saying these prophesies he would fulfill.
John the Baptist announced Jesus as the lamb of God.
All the prophets agreed Jesus is the Messiah and is the Son Of God who did pay the penalty of death for those who accept the atonement. The Messiah and the things that were foretold and the things he fulfilled proves who Jesus is. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are ONE God.

Try to imagine this:
One person with three aspects to their personality: We'll call them Id and Ego and a Superego. Insane, right? Must be a wacko who came up with the idea that one person could have three distinct aspects to them.
Unless...
maybe the God who created humans also had three distinct aspects to himself.
Maybe its not such a wacky idea after all...
Oh, ,and never mentioned? Ever read the adventure stories in Daniel? Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego had another walking in the fiery furnace with them. Nebuchadnezzar himself saw the fourth and proclaimed him The Son of God, the Angel of the Lord.
Jesus, the Son of God, proclaimed the coming of the Holy Spirit to dwell in all who believed in Him. The day of Pentecost celebrates the first manifestation of the Holy Spirit within all believers.
We worship one God, who has revealed to us three aspects of himself. We don't believe in three separate gods, we believe in the one God who shows himself in those three ways.
Your mother was also a daughter and a lover. You might see her in only her mother role, but she was definitely all three.
Amazing how those groups of three appear in all of creation, isn't it?
Yes, the word "Trinity" isn't n the Bible, but the concept is defined throughout the Word of God.

God the Holy Ghost is the voice of God

The Catholic Church invented many of our non-Bible based religious beliefs. The Bible mentions God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is right to do as the Bible says in regards to what the Catholics call "the Holy Trinity".

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Here God uses the plural, our, instead of the singular, me. There are other illusions but you used the word, never.
Ask linedancer who wrote his Bible. Wouldn't a religious group want to show who translated their Bible and these people's credentials? Would you want to find out that it was a plumber in Brooklyn who translated your Bible because some church leader said he could?
