If god cannot prevent his representatives from doing that, how can anyone believe in god??
Or better, why should anyone?
Dont say that priests are just human beings because that is just an excuse...god according to the bible destroyed cities and flooded the earth because he didnt like what was going on....does that mean that when he doesnt do anything about priests molesting children he doesnt reject it??
why did he destroy sodomah and gomorrah so many years back but today he doesnt fry with a thunderbolt those priests???

i read a story about a man who became a priest after being molested by one he said he forgives and there are many that do believe

Yes there was a time when we were punished immediately for our sins. But that was changed when man asked for time to repent and ask for forgiveness. There are 2 kind of destiny. One that GOD chooses for you and its un-avoidable the other is what you choose. I was mollested when i was a kid. But i did not become a mollester. I rather chose to be a person i am now. And i love my life.

I think it would be very hard, if not impossible, for a child who had been abused in this way.
I am a Christian, and I think any priest/pastor who did this ought to be thrown in prison for the duration. I am not judging, but I think children need to be protected.

Why not? Were they molested by God? Some people cannot distinquish between God and people who are supposed to be His representatives and messangersbut can be traitors to God by their actions and words.
