Ex: through the Bible, aka "word of God"

Solarius what I mean by experienced for you is: You believe in it because you are told it is true. If you are told otherwise you don't believe it. So are you believing because you actually feel it, if so how? Otherwise the only way to believe it is by someone else's word.

I don't know what having spirituality experienced for me would be like. Christianity is not a vicarious experience, nor is it a spectator sport. This is not a football game that I'm idly watching from the sidelines. I am involved directly, and on a very personal level. With every prayer, act of worship, gesture of kindness, sacrament, charitable gift, or moment of devotion, I'm personally involved.

In answer to your other commentary, do you think that I would believe something just because somebody else told me to? I've heard many things from the pulpit that I don't believe. If I don't believe it, no matter who says it, I don't follow it. I go by religious tradition at times, but also by experience. For me, belief is a matter of personal experience. As for faith, that is a very complex subject, and it would be difficult to explain in only a few minutes. However, I've had a spiritual bent since childhood, and have chosen the religious path that makes the most sense for me personally.

100% experienced. That's what the Sacraments are...where the "Word meets the Elements" - it's Incarnational, like the Church itself, the Body of Christ.

Both. I experience spirituality on a daily basis, and I read about the spiritual experiences of others in the scriptures, and I hear about spiritual experiences from my friends and family. :)
