They have violent rages, where they tear up everything. Help needed in Texas. Kid is 17, about to be 18 soon. Cops take him and bring him back in 2 days, then his does it all over again. We need some type of facility or special homes for children. We were going to try therapy, but now we just need him displaced somewhere else until the therapy starts.

Get him into inpatient treatment at a psychiatric facility. They will be able to help you with the transition to outpatient placement (or even residential treatment if necessary), as well.

Consider calling Human/Social Services. So long as he is under 18 he can go into Foster Care. They care for kids with these sorts of problems all the time.
One of the goals is to keep the other kids in the family safe.

Another optionis to speak to a Social Worker at your Social Services or Child Protective Services. They have voluntary units (they are not just for taking kids away). These specialized social workers can help you find community services and may even fund them for you as well. Good luck.

on his 18 birthday drop him off at your local armed forces recruiter and tell him he's on his own now and hope he will make the right choice and sign up. if not let him know if he will not abide by your rules he will not live in your house. he's a man now and has to make his own choices. he does not belong in your house if he will not abide by your rules. you've done what you can and the rest is up to him.
