What do you feel is appropriate? Personally, I'm a little shy. Out in public, a peck on the cheek is as far as it goes...if that far, depending on the situation.

If you are married, then a peck on the lips is ok.
Otherwise, holding hands in public is all the display
of affection needed to tell the world that the two of
you are a twosome.
People who put on a public display of affection are
either advertising for more or do not have much
self esteem and are trying to compensate by showing off with their partner.

If your Boyfriend-girlfriend, public affection should be no more then just holding hands. As for married couples i agree with Blessed, a peck on the lips , and that's it. I am a classy type of person i really find it totally wrong kissing for longer than 2 minutes, "scamming" no way!!!! Keep it simple, please!!!

I personally think it's disgusting when I see people sucking face on the street. I think that a peck on the lips and a quick hug is as far as people should go. Children and everyone else shouldn't have to see people tonguing.

Do what you feel is comfortable for you. I do not mind public displays at all as long as it's not obscene...groping..carrying on way to long..bumping and grinding. Not acceptable.

I think anything up til frenching is okay...so holding hands, kisses on the cheek, kisses on the lips are okay. As for full on making out or...more is overdoing it.
