Many strains of marijuana are grown hydroponically, but not underwater. Roots can grow underwater in a nutrient solution, but the green part of the plant needs air and light, something that's not found at the bottom of the ocean! Many strains are named for their region of origin. Thus Acupulco, from Mexico, and Kush, a mountain range in Afghanistan: the Hindu Kush. Seeds may be imported from just about anywhere, and grown just about anywhere. Thus one could grow Acupulco Gold in Hawaii, but that strain is not indiginous to that area.

Hazing has been going on for 100s of years at schools all over the world, but it can be really harsh or just teasing. Some kids have been killed when the ones in charge of doing the hazing go to far. Some people are so desperate to get into a school, sorority, fraternity or gang that they will put up with anything. They don't have the nerve to step back and say, Hey, this is going way too far and I won't join if this is what we have to do. That is really hard to do and takes a lot more guts then actually taking part. If you want to get into a group, check them out and see what kind of hazing they put people through or if they do it. In most schools hazing is illegal and the sorority or fraternity can be kicked off of campus if the authorities find out they do it. In gangs it isn't called hazing, it's getting beat in, or gang rape. No matter what, it isn't worth the lifetime of therapy or bad memories that hazing causes.

Marijuana, being a green plant, needs light to perform photosynthesis. On the bottom of the ocean, there is not enough light for photosynthesis to occur. Neither marijuana nor any other green plant could possibly grow there.
Also, it's "Acapulco Gold", not "occo pocko". It's named after the port city of Acapulco, in Mexico. Based on the name, one would expect it to grow in...wait for it...Acapulco! How your friend arrived at "Hawaii" is quite a mystery.

Its all Hydroponic, but not grown underwater!
And purple kush is a strain with high levels of THC, and kinda purple and hairy. Heard of different hazes too, check out hightimes.com for more info.

all these people are wrong.....these types of marijuana are called sativa ( very potent) they can be grown in soil or water.
