I have been on many RC cruises but not the Sovereign yet. But the typical menu for RC cruises has a variety of great items for dinner each night. You will have a choice of several soups AND hot or cold appetizers, then a salad. For the main course there is usually a fish or seafood, a beef dish, a chicken disk and a pasta dish. Some nights they may have lamb, veal, escargot, shrimp, or turkey. Then on one or two night they may offer a great choice or lobster tail or Prime rib, or fillet mignon. One of these is usually offered on a formal night. Then there are a variety of deserts offered, some specials but also usually cheese cake and ice cream or sherbet. On the formal night they usually offer Cherries Jubilee or Baked Alaska on the desert menu.

One thing I love about RC's dinner menu's is they all have an alternative menu EVERY night that has on it Sirloin Steak, grilled chicken breast and baked salmon. SO if you don't like the special preparations you can always choose one of those. And you can always order a baked potato and a ceaser salad as an alternative. And you can always order seconds(and thirds) of any thing and if you order something and don't like it just tell them and they will bring something else.
