Hi,

I have a website about Standard Poodles and there is a page on the site about Dog Transportation. Check it out, it might help.

Good answers but there is one other possibility. Many rescue organizations also have an organized transport network. If they are already making a run and have room, they may agree to transport your dog. However, a nice donation would be in order but it would surely cost less then the other ways. Do a search for nationwide breed rescue organizations and concentrate on ones that closest match your dog.

I know if someone had asked me, I would have done it when I moved from Texas to Washington. I only transported a single rescue going from German Shepherd Dog Rescue in Texas to a home in Denver, CO so there would have been room.

Contact your local vet and ask them about transporters. They are about the same price as shipping them on the airlines, but you dont have to worry about the cabin pressure and heat getting to the dog. This way they get personal care and the person drives the dog to you. Its becoming a big profession in the dog industry. You could also rent a car and go pick her up. There are a lot of hotels you could stay at that are pet friendly. Good Luck!

The simplest, safest, and cheapest method will be to rent a car and drive both ways. Any other way will require buying a crate, and paying for shipping which could take a few days.

You could put him on a plane, and that might cost about five hundred dollars...

You can call the airlines, the bus companies, and moving companies. You might also talk to your local vet...

Maryland! the full state is plenty like Ohio. in case you do no longer stay contained in the western section or the eastern shore, it incredibly is incredibly what you get. additionally, there's a gaggle of state parks that are the two interior or incredibly close to to us (in like Penn. or Virginia)
