Convince them to seriously read their Bibles and take time to pray and practice what they are reading, i.e. the New Testament teachings of Christ. If we live the way He taught, we could change the world just as the 12 men He picked 2000 years ago did.

You can't - they will never be the same person again. Know that God chooses you - you don't choose God. Many Christians have to leave their old friends behind as they enter their new life.

Perhaps he's found that a peaceful heart and the hope of eternal life are a fair trade-off for your brand of "sanity."

You can't, unfortunately.
My mother and sister both are Christian.. and I wouldn't even try to get them to think otherwise... It would only end badly.

Talk nicely and offer a better explanation. Unfortunately, the reality we see doesn't seem better to them. If one could somehow make them aware that belief in God is a trap and the real test is to escape it.

Don't tell me.... You spend an awful lot of time wondering why Christians are angry with you and what you say, right?
