If the term "sinner" applies to everyone, then why the need to accusatorily and maliciously call people sinners? For example, someone gets caught having premarital sex (shudder), then someone might say, "You immoral sinner!", "You're living in sin!" or something along those lines. Isn't it a little redundant? Why the need to differentiate between "sinner" and another?

Because the people throwing around that word are just looking for a reason to talk down to everyone else.
What else could prove how good a christian you are unless you point out the bad ones?

Sin takes many forms. Some sins are more serious than others and have long-term effects. For instance, a lie may soon be forgotten, or easily forgiven, at least. But a murder...that's different, don't you agree?

You may not be able to change the attitudes of others and what they say, but you can be careful of your own thoughts, words, and actions. You can take care not to judge others, and you can refrain from accusing them with the verbal examples you've used here.

You can try to live your own life in a way that reflects goodness and kindness to everyone. Then you don't have to worry about the sins of others.

If you are truly a Christian, you don't point your finger at anyone. We are ALL sinners and fall short of the glory of God. No one's sin is worse than the others. The fact is that each of us needs a relationship with Jesus in order for our sins to be forgiven. It is not for anyone to judge the other or point fingers. That is left to God in Heaven. If you are pointing your finger at someone and judging them, you will be judged accordingly.

Those who constantly accuse others of sinning, sit upon their moralistic high horses waiting to catch someone stepping outside what they consider the "guidelines" and swoop in. The funny thing about these people though is that they are nearly always the "Do as I say, not as I do." type of people.

I guess to wake them up and help them to realize how serious life is. Having fun today and not repenting could be our last day. It is reminder that we are to repent and feel remorse for our wrong actions. No one will ever be perfect. Its just one of those things we have to live with. Remember, they criticized and tortured Jesus first.

Because not all sinners practice the act of sin, & if they do they repent of the sin & try not to do it again.

While other sinners sin, know they are sinning, don't care that they are sinning, & continue to sin.
