No they are two different companies - i used to work for walgreens and they do not take any gift card thats not a credit named git card (such as american express or visa gift card), or a giftcard that says walgreens on it, with Walmart you may use walmart gift cards at sams club, vice versa because they are the same company. ♥

No, they are two different companies. But you could probably use a Walmart card at Sam's Club, since it is the same company. I pay my Sam's Club credit card bill at Walmart.
