I have a 95 jeep grand cherokee limited and it doesnt have a remote to activate alarm. I purchased it used so the dealer stated need to use the key to activate and deactivate. however he couldnt tell me how. Does anyone know how to activate the security alarm. I did it once but don't know what I did for it to activate

As soon as you press the power door lock button and lock the doors it puts the system into delayed activation. As soon as you close all the doors the system will activate. To deactivate unlock the driver's side or passenger side door. Do not attempt to unlock the rear liftgate before unlocking the driver's side door though or the alarm will go off.

you're no longer the sole one with probs. I in simple terms offered a ninety seven ZJ, and a pair of weeks after i offered it the water pump went out, the ac backs up and leaks into the passenger flooboard, and in simple terms this week my transmission began leaking. and that i in simple terms offered a 4.5 carry to placed on it. meaning i'm caught with mine for awhile
