How do you link a dvd video into powerpoint presentation?

Question

I want to be able to link the video to start when I am doing the presentation. I don't have the media program that embeds the video into the presentation so I just want to make a link to it.

Hi,

To add a hyperlink right click on any slide element (can be text or a picture or a drawing object - just about anything). Then choose Hyperlink from the pop-up menu .

You can then browse to the medial file. When the presentation is running just click the link and the media file will launch.
