In the title i meant to but "i have begun to cry uncontrolably, after that i start getting angry." I butcher my sentences sometimes. And yes, it is destructive anger, but i repress it.

It's symptomatic of depression but this is too important an issue to rely on a lay-person's diagnosis from a distance...I recommend fairly immediate professional help to assess your situation and develop a coping strategy that will bring you some relief. Realize that depression and other emotional disorders rarely get better on their own (though symptoms do subside from time to time giving a false sense of security), so it's vital to get the help you need as soon as you can. Good luck in this regard.

Do you cry when angry or after something else. crying when angry is normal its just some people are not meant to be mean people and all the emotion that goes into be angry has no where to go but out the tear ducks or out the mouth in the form of vomit.....if you cry after phone calls or sex i would say talk to someone why you think you do that and get to the root of the problem which may have nothing to do with being sad. emotions have funny ways of expressing themselves.

Anger is an emotion, you just can't use destructive anger. If you're crying uncontrollably and feeling hopeless..I say a visit to the psychologist wouldn't hurt. You dont' want depression to lay around and linger. Do not react out of anger..you still have to stay in control. If this is something you do from time to time then it's time to see your Dr. Peace be upon you in Jesus name.

my best friend in high school would do that... out of the blue.
she would take a nap, wake up and begin to sob without letup until she finally threw something. and then she was ok. or she'd have a bad phone call and so on.

she had an enlarged thyroid. it really disturbed her horomone output and she had no control over her emotions. it was a difficult time for her because she couldn't explain it and she usually wasn't in the mood to talk about it.

i'm sure it must be frustrating. but everyone is different and i highly recommend talking to your doctor about your sypmtoms. keep a record of things you eat, things that happen (good or bad) and everything that leads up to these experiences. u never know what might be triggering it. i hope everything works out and i doubt anything is permanently wrong.

You may be depressed. Something is definitely bothering you or you have a low self esteem problem. You can go to a counsellor and talk it over. Remember you have a right to be angry, be heard and to express emotion.
