As a nurse, I frequently have to teach patients about their medications, treatments, and aspects of their conditions. That's part of the job.
In my private life I am never that pedantic. I admit to "holding forth" on occasion, if it's a subject I know a lot about, but that is usually just a matter of conversation. So I guess, in general, I would say no.

Yes and no.
According to the scriptures, I am to learn from others
Philippians 2:3 . . .doing nothing out of contentiousness or out of egotism, but with lowliness of mind considering that the others are superior to YOU. . .
But I also have the responsibility to teach others what I know
Acts 1:8 . . . but YOU will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon YOU, and YOU will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Ju‧de′a and Sa‧mar′i‧a and to the most distant part of the earth
(YOU when in capitals - is the way to translate into English, their form of YOU when it was put into the Plural, not the singular)

on many subjects - such as art (ie., fine art, music and literature) and religion (particularly catholicism) - yes. same for computers/basic troubleshooting.
cars? astrophysics? sports? not even close.
