I read this book and it said the only way to really get it out is wash your face and then gently squeeze them out....
But if you're not too sure about that the best bet is to buy a cleanser especially for blackheads, such as Clean& Clear, and going to a dermatologist .

I just bought some of those BIORE nose strips the other day. They are a little less than 6 dollars for 8 of them at Wal-Mart. Ponds actually makes them as well. Anyhow, they worked really well for getting most of mine out, assuming that you follow the directions that is. If that doesn't work, you could always go to a spa and get microdermabrasion, but thats is more costly and I think you could get the same results from the strips. Good Luck!

there's a blackhead remover that you can find in Walgreens or Longs...it's a metal object rounded at the ends and has a hole at the tip that you press onto your nose, which pops out the blackhead (gross). You can effectively avoid the scarring risk when you do it by hand. It really served me well...

Make sure you are cleansing your face twice a day with an appropriate cleanser. The best cleanser I have ever used for blackheads is Proactiv cleanser. I don't use the other products (toner, gel) but the cleanser is very nice.

Go to a drugstore and look for what's called a "skin care tool." They cost about $5 and have special tips designed to gently push out the blackheads.

I find the strips don't work. Go and get a facial, or you can buy a tool that pops em out, I think tweezerman makes them, works good for the hard to get ones on the nose.

i use Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub...it works really well...but if its too expensive...i have found that the CVS brand works exactly the same...if not better...but be sure to:
1. only use warm water...because it opens up your pores
2. follow the directions on the bottle...it says to rub in it for like 2 minutes...so do it!
3. be sure to wash all of it off when your done...because soap can also clog your pores...
good luck! ♥

Whatever you end up using, be it an exfoliating cleanser, the strips, or even the metal tool ..
BE ABSOLUTELY SURE
to use a toner afterwards to tighten and shrink your pores.
Otherwise they can fill right back up with oil and dirt.
Splashing cold water on your face afterwards is also effective in tightening your pores.
