In Dancing the Man and Wife wil fall if both try to Lead;
You do know that Adam could have said no to Eve when She

I was at a "Love and Respect" conference and the speaker (Dr. Emmerson Eggerichs) had an interesting thought about this verse.
It's given as part of the curse after Adam and Eve sinned. He said that the wife will desire to rule the household, but the husband will. So, the curse is that there is now a big conflict between men and women.
Ephesians 5 talks about this further. He also said one way to help the curse not be too bad is for husbands to unconditionally love their wives and for wives to unconditionally respect their husbands. He mentions that unconditional love is talked about a lot, but we don't hear about unconditional respect much.
Another thought is that the Church is described as the bride of Christ in the Bible. It seems like there is a similar conflict when we sin. We should follow Jesus, but we want to do our own thing.
Anyway, thought I would share.

The first answer is right. It means that a women will stay with her husband only and he is the head of the household.
But the next verse is that a "husband will cherish his wife" which means he is the boss but always does what she wants.

God gave the woman and the man a job to do, and the bible explains over and over what they are, They are not a 50-50 relationship, they are a 100-100 relationship, they are partners working together, Each one doing their job, God gifted man in things he is more capable of, and the woman in things she is more capable of, the man was made the head of the partnership.

easy,
women have this curse till the end...
that they will LOVE thier Husbands way of things...
you know for eating that fruit...(monoghamous)
men, not having this particular curse, do not see it that way(permiscuity)
you know how women say yes to whatever thier told by thier men alot of the time...of course many claim this no longer holds true them(and many are miserable, deep down inside, for striving against this particular curse...)
its a punishment, like men toiling, and plants having thorns, won't go away till
HE Returns i suppose...
HE has Reason and Risen

Its to do with Adam and Eve when they sinned and had to leave the garden of Eden. It also says about women giving birth in pain. It often makes me wonder how it was supposed to be before they sinned.

old testament, it means that you will love only your husband (love in the carnal sense that is). It also tells you that you are a subject to your husband.
In relation, Jesus teaches us that to be a king and have subjects, you must also be a servant and serve others. So it does balance out, a woman is below a man in a marriage, BUT, the man a servant to the woman.

it means that you will only sleep with your husband. and that he should be the head of the house hold. how ever if you keep reading beyond that it talks about how a husband should treat his wive " you should love and honer your wife as jesus loves and honers the chruch" meaning that the husband shouldent sleep with other women and should respect his wifes input and not abuse her.

wish it was true for all women...means you'll love your hubby and only desire him. men have dominion over the wife. they are the head of the household so to speak. that doesn't mean abusive etc...
