Growing up, God, Lord, Church, Bible, Christ, and any other word on those lines were never spoken. It was just not something either of my parents were raised with.

Now, I have a daughter of my own, and have some devoted christian friends who have gotten me interested in learning more, and trying to receive god into my life. I feel like I've never had a reason for life, a path, guidance, anything to beleive in, and Im interested in exploring more.

In the most simplistic terms, how did you discover god if you werent raised with him in your life?

I discovered God when He made Himself known to me. Sort of like walking into a party and seeing somebody across the room that you just HAVE to meet -- that's what it was like for me. I didn't know God existed before that moment, but once I did, there was no other choice for me than to devote myself to Him.

Ask God to make Himself known to you. Then keep your eyes open...it just might happen in a way you don't expect it to.

A person reared like that wouldn't have to find religion, it would find him/her. Very few people, on earth, can now say that they never hear of God or some religion. Pops

I am happy for you...I found myself in situations that no one else could get me out, a lot of friends that were praying for me and God touched me in many ways, I excepted Jesus into my life and have never regretted it..
