If they are really what you say they are you got a hell of a deal.
1200 count means 1200 threads per inch. And Egyptian cotton is very soft feel to it. So between the 1200 count and the Egyptian cotton you are going to have very soft nice sheets on yur bed. Almost feel like silk without the laundry problems of silk.

Be careful, not all thread counts are created equally. Ideally the sheets will be "long staple" cotton which wears the nicest, washes the nicest, and feels super soft. The thread count doesnt necessarily mean they are great sheets--you can have 300 ct sheets that are amazing and 800 that are horrible.

But, if these sheets are the real deal, you'll know what's so special about them the first night you sleep in them!

I hope you got a great deal but usually for very good quality sheets for a king sized bed you will spend at least $300.

all I've ever heard is that they are supposed to be really, really smooth......but THEN I just read that anything over 400 to 500 count is no different than the lower counts..so it's kind of a waste of money to go over the 500 count sheets...

The higher the thread count, the softer more luxurious the sheets. It's well worth the extra money. They will wrinkle. I iron my pillow cases and top sheet.
