NO it's not OK to cut your wrists and most cutters don't announce that they cut themselves they mostly keep to themselves and don't talk to many people...so i am pretty sure the only reason you asked this question was to get attention...that is what most cutters need...ATTENTION...and i read most of the answers people said to you....i feel for your pain and the psychological answer to why people cut themselves is so that the emotional pain they are feeling is justified by physical pain...i am not just saying this either i did some research right after my great grandma died and i started cutting myself..All i wanted to do was figure out why i was in soo much pain....why it hurt so much...before i could do to much harm and end my life (because it's true if you cut to deep you can cause a vein to bleed out and bleeding to death is not the way to go) my family found out and stepped in...for a long time we talked and talked about the pain and i got started on an anti-depressant which some people are against but let me tell you it helps. Even if you do not want to take a prescribed medication at least start taking St.Johns Wart which is a vitamin that helps stabilize your moods...GOOD LUCK AND NOTHING I REPEAT NOTHING IS WORTH ENDING YOUR LIFE OVER...

No. My friend cut her wrist alot a few years ago and now she has huge scars that people constanly ask her about. She is very self conscince about them and are a huge regret bc people look down upon her for them and it looks bad when she goes for a job interview. I am sorry for what ever causes you to even consider cutting your wrist maybe you could consider going to a therapist or a counselor. I hope you dont cut your wrist. Think about your friends & family and them hoping they dont find you dead bc you cut to deep. Even if you dont think they will miss you they most definetly will.

well yes and no yes if you dont do it too deep but no because its visible, you could go too deep and bleed out. i used to cut my wrists and other parts but those scars no matter how shallow the wound was havent healed yet i still see them everyday and i havent cut there in almost 5 years believe me one day you will wake up and look at yourself and go what the f**k? what am i doing? and those scars will haunt you for years after you are better. if you need any help contact me i have been there and done that too many times to count

No, it's not OK. You already know that. Please talk to someone, a friend, family member, try to get yourself into counseling or therapy. Hurting yourself will not solve your problems. It may make you feel better temporarily, but you need to get at the root of the problem. Cutting will not do that for you. Please get some help. Good luck.

iknow how you feel..it leaves scars to remind you of why you did it so its not good. im not gonna lie. i do it to buh i have to stop becaus i got with this boy && he said its either cutting or him. ive been with him a year...anyways....i suggest wearing a rubber band around your arm && when you get in that cutting mood snap your arm, you get the pain without the scars, well you will have a bruise but it goes away... i do it, some times, it sorta weans you off cutting....
