SD memory card not loading on computer?

When i take my SD card out of my camera and put it into my computer, it is supposed to load, and give me an option to upload my photos. and it USUALLY does. but about 40% of the time. It doesnt show that the card is even in the computer, except for the light down next to the slot. To get it loaded i just have to wait a couple days. whats wrong? why isnt it coming up?

That sounds like the drivers for your card reader are missing or corrupt. I would try and reinstall them. Most PC's today have a software and driver repair program or CD's.

you should be able to access the card by going to..My Computer,E:drive orand then the media folder.,which may be the DCIM folder.
