Need some fresh new inspirations! I typically mix in fancy spice mixes and some minced scallions or garlic into lite sour cream. Allergic to all seafood and hate bean dip!

Here's a recipe for veggie dip that tastes like the real thing, but with out the fat and calories.

1 - 16 ounce container fat free cottage cheese
1 pack hidden valley ranch mix (dressing or dip)

Put cottage cheese in blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour into a bowl. Add pack of Hidden valley ranch mix. Cover, and refridgerate overnight so the powder has time to disolve.

I always mix a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch with a small conatiner of reduced fat sour cream. It tastes pretty rich and creamy, nut there's only about 45 calories per 2 tablespoons. If you're looking to cut the fat and calories even further, mix it with an 8oz container of fatfree plain yogurt.

Try switching your Sour Cream for unflavored yogurt or silken tofu - you will have loads less calories and you can add pureed vegetables with spices, you could also make any number of vegetable or olive tampenades for a nice change and salsa too can be used for a great veggie dip. Enjoy!
