I ask this, because one of the constant answers on R&S is "well he/she really wasn't really a Christian."

One other Question; Will Jim and Tammy go to the Christian Hell for preaching Christianity when they were not Chrisitans?

I wonder what haapens to all those "saved" by people that really aren't Christians?

I think they were Christians, possibly just not very good ones. A true Christian displays the 'fruits of the spirit". This is how we know a true believer from a wolf in sheeps clothing. I have heard Jim Bakker speak about his time in prison and it sounds to me as if he is a better Christian for it. We (Christians) must all be careful not too judge too harshly though, as we will be judged in the same way we judge others.

Even though Jim and Tammy may not have been very good Christians does not mean they will go to hell. It only means they weren't very good Christians. We are not judged by our works, but by Grace - thank God, or we would all be in trouble.

I am not sure of what sort of Christians they were before....now that they have been on their knees for awhile...perhaps they might get to know the Lord
