If a dog pants, it's because they are in pain. Is it one of her back legs?? If it is, I'm assuming she dislocated her kneecap with is VERY common in small breeds. The only cure is surgery to reattach the kneecap using pins. Very expensive ($800ish) but necessary or the damage will be permanent and they will never walk correctly again. Over the years, I've had 3 dogs with luxating patellas (two minpins and one chihuahua). They do fine after. If you try to bend her knee, do you feel her kneecap 'floating' out of place. I'm only suggesting this because mine have done it a lot just jumping off of furniture or wiping out while running around.

Good luck.

canine balls...the puppy's self-worth? Ha! The rattling issues are plastic and the animal gets no earnings from having them in his scrotum. The vet offered you a bill of things so he would desire to earnings out of your lack of understanding. And if it replace into your thought to have them implanted he would desire to have tried to dissuade you. canine (fairly domestic dogs) have no inkling of what occurred in the vet's place of work different than he fell asleep and has some soreness down by his penis. yet he does sense much less aggressive and now the mutt around the line would not look lots of a threat to him. pass to him and have the canine taken care of for the irritation and swelling, in case you nevertheless believe him. stable success J

it sounds more serious then just catching her leg on a bed spread. if you dont want to take her in to the vet at least call them and tell them what is up they will tell you what it could be... gl

On a wild guess she's torn an cruciate (knee ligament). wishing will not make it better and, as to her opinion as to if its serious- panting is a pain symptom
