Actually, there is a pretty easy litmus test for determining whether the voice you hear is God or not.

Basically, are the things you are hearing consistent with the character of God listed in whatever religious text you believe. If you are of a monotheistic faith and are hearing multiple voices (not different tones of the same voice, but distinct voices) then you can probably go ahead and book an appointment with a psychiatrist.

If you are a Christian, and the voice you are hearing is telling you to kill all brown haired people, then it's most likely not God. But if he is telling you to love the people around you, or to give to the poor, or is in someway affirming you or helping you affirm those around you, then there is a chance it may be God.

Although, in my experience, it's better to assume that it's not God until you have substantial evidence that it is, rather than the other way around.

All born returned believers are saints. It says so throughout the time of the Holy Bible. This reality is denied via the bastardized R.C. cult. If Joan concept she heard Katherine conversing, what she incredibly hears became into the voice of a demon masquerading as Katherine. as quickly as someone has died there is not greater communique with the residing. ineffective skill ineffective! All direct communique between God and residing mankind ended with the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ because of the fact Jesus became into the final ingredient God had to declare to mankind. the only way that we are able to talk with God now's thru His Son Jesus. to make certain that God to pay attention men's prayers at present, guy could first settle for the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus and ask Jesus to forgive him and are available into his heart as Lord and private Savior. everyone at present who isn't born returned, yet insists that they pay attention God chatting with them, are incredibly insane. Moses and Elijah have been 2 of the main sane people who ever lived because of the fact they actually did pay attention the voice of God. Jesus is God and needs no rationalization or excuse.

You can say whatever you like. It may or may not be though.

You might consider:
2 Corinthians 11:14 Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

and

1 John 4:1 Dear friends, stop believing every spirit. Instead, test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

The burden of proof is on the person making the claim.
The person disputing the claim has no burden of proof. The fact that the person making the claim can't prove it is sufficient.

I wouldn't assume it's God. More than likely you have a natural "high-frequency", that allows you to tap into the goings-on of people who have passed on from this world.
