we sold ours for 100.00. with a spaying contract. it was an accident breeding. charged to make sure the people were going to really take care of them. and also made them sign papers saying that if they couldn't take care of them they would come back to us instead of ending up in a animal shelter somewhere. good luck.

Whatever you charge, consider adding about $50 to the cost that is refundable when the buyer sends you a receipt from having the dog spayed or neutered.
If someone wants a purebred dog without papers, it's probably because it's cheaper and they don't plan on breeding it. This is an excellent incentive for them to be a responsible pet owner, because it forces them to take the dog to the vet to be checked out (which they might have been too cheap to do otherwise) and it helps to control the population of unwanted pets.

I agree with Bassetnut. I also wouldnt pay more than 100$, if that, for a puppy whos parents did NOT compete in Show and won some titles and who arent hips, eyes, heart, elbows checked. Esp. if they arent AKC registered!
I payed about 1000$ for my PUREBRED Dachshund puppy, whos parents have won show titles, grandparents etc. Heart was checked, eyes and hips.
I wouldnt buy a puppy from you if none of that was done.

Oh, my...without papers, pure bred means nothing.
Find all of the pups good homes (free or nominal amount to cover vet costs), then get Sadie spayed.
25% of shelter dogs are pure bred. 3-4 MILLION cats and dogs are put to sleep every year because they don't have homes. Don't be part of the problem.

it just really depends on how much you speand at the vet to get their first puppy shots and worming done before you sell them...look in the local paper and check around with breeders i your area for a possible price amount

When my first dog had puppies, they didn't have papers and we just gave them away to friends. I would charge something, though, so they don't end up in the wrong hands. 150 - 250, max.

Sorry, but puppies whose parents have not finished their AKC championship to prove their breeding quality, then received all the health clearances and genetic testing available for the breed are pretty much worthless.

Are you one of those lovely people who bought a purebred dog whose breeder decided it should be on a limited non-breeding registration and you decided to breed it anyhow? < end sarcasm>
Without papers the pups are worth whatever any purebred rescue of the same breed are worth. Couple hundred bucks.
Please be sure to sell the pups with spay/nueter contracts and a return to breeder clause. If you need a copy of such a contract please contact me. Please make sure your pups do not end up in the hands of a puppymiller being bred every time they go in heat.

Did you do genetic testing on the parents? Are the parents show dogs who have at least shown they meet breed standards? If not then $50 is good. If they have had their shots then charge what the vet charged you. make the buyers sign a spay/neuter contract.

PUREBRED (not "fullbred") means nothing without papers. Sorry.
But I'm sure you can get some gullible people to plunk down a few hundred bucks for your BYB puppies.
