The Democratic social agenda is a lot closer to Jesus yeaching then the conservatives is.

Jesus was very tolerant and hung out with all manner of people.

The republicans or conservatives have never had a monopoly on Christianity or the pipeline to God that many of them think they do.

Anyone who wears Jesus on his sleeve...or has to advertise their Christianity are probably not really Christians. YOu should be able to tell a Christian by their deeds and actions...not by their flowery speech.

Anyway, the Republicans are just as guilty...they profess to be Christians, but look at their actions...Gingrich, Bush, the bozo from Louisiana caught with the prostitute...all profess to be Christians...but, their actions would state otherwise...

We need to leave religion out of politics...and elect the best people to govern our finances and protect our country...leave the social programs to the churches...and the moral issues to the individuals...

Finally, of all the candidates..Hilllary is the only one that regularly attends church...it doesn't necessarily mean anything...but, I think it is interesting that Bush professes his faith so strongly...but, has only been to church a handful of times in the past 20 years....hmmmm.

A false faith reveals empty words. Actions prove the genuiness. When a party or individual person votes for, stands for things that are contrary to God's Word they are a false prophet. I regard their conversion as one trying to get votes "unless they change their stance on major issues."

They are finally making it clear that a small fraction of fanatic conservative Christianity has been speaking for all Christians. They know, that since they have more power they can help the majority of Christians have a voice in government.

Just looking for votes,
I don't see what is the point, Jesus will soon take control and became king him self. Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.
You see what i mean Jesus will crush and put an end to all types of goverment.

I am always reminded, upon hearing politicians quoting religious figures, of Jared Diamond's elegant phrase, "religion in service to kleptocracy. "

Double minded. They speak the name out of one side of their mouths, then with the other side advocate abortion, homosexual privileges, socialism, burdensome taxation, class envy and pluralism.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power?
Mat 7:23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"
