Nothing magic about yogurt, but it is a good source of calcium, as are most dairy products.
Knocking fruits completely off the list is going to present some significant difficulties in obtaining necessary micronutrients.

I would have to say that yogurt is not that healthy for you. And not all fruits are healthy for you. For example, one small banana is 90 calories. So if you want to make sure what you are eating is healthy, just look at the calories, sugars and fat.
If you are very serious about loosing weight try eating protein bars.
Sometimes you know when you are really craving something, but you just cannot eat that cause you know it is bad for you? Well sometimes you can eat what you want! Like for example,
...if you want chocolate, eat dark chocolate (it is the healthiest chocolate around)
... if you want cookies, then go to the snack isle and see if you can find 100 calorie packs, they are healthier than normal snacks.
... If you want eggs, then eat the egg just take out the yolk cause it is fatning and just eat the whites.
If you want something then eat it. Try eating smaller portions instead, and find the healthiest kind of what you want. Like the chocolate example!
Hope i helped,

Yogurt won't really help get skinny, especially if your the type of person who gains weight through dairy. But Fruit, fruit is the best thing to eat if you're trying to get skinny.
