You are not the first to ask this questions and here it is "icebreaker" on the personal it is a form of trying to be the first to say something to a male or female that catches your eye on the personals. There are a selected words or a phrase that you can select for eg. "Hi" sent it and wait to hear from him or her.

when climbers are climbing a mountain, it gets awkward on who breaks the ice, because someone has got to do it. Anyways, stage something. I sometimes stage a fight with a willing friend, and usually they come to you. all you have to do is act like a hero
