Neither are normally crooked.
But some police officers are, as are some fishing hooks. Crooked cops and crooked fishing hooks are completely useless and a waste of money. They should be disposed of safely.

Without our brave, dedicated police we would be in trouble. We would have total anarchy. No-one is perfect-there are bound to be one or two people who give the majority a bad name.

How would you like to patrol the streets on foot when the pubs and clubs empty?
Could you pick up arms and heads and mashed bodies after a road accident? Pick up the body of a child after it has been brutally murdered-or tell that child's parents the bad news?

The police. Fishing hooks are made of brass and doesn't make up stuff to write tickets. Ever heard of spotlighting? That's when a crooked cop follows behind you at night, shines his spotlight on the pavement to distract you, when you react by slightly swerving, he pulls you over for careless driving.

There has always been good coppers and bad ones and it will always be the same.

They do a difficult job very well.

Would I be correct in thinking you don't have a job.

Why not join the police?
