Calling the police is an option where I live in the chicago land area if your music can be heard within 75ft the police will impound your car. But I am a car audio installer and my bass frequency is low and hard to identify which car its coming from, but I do turn it down if im in the position to disturb someone. Yes there are alot of ignorant folks with high wattage stereos so thats why the laws are in place accordingly, just like someone stealing from you, call the cops if you dont like it cause thats all you can do. Oh and please understand high end car audio is supposed to sound like a concert if applied right. Car makers sacrifice sound quality for radios that dont break because when you bring it in for repair, it messes with the maufacturers reliability ratings. So the end result you have a low power weak stock stereo. But Its cheap for the car maker and it wont break. If your car radio sounded like mine you just might be the one disturbing people!
