what do u think about toungue piercings?

sry if i spelled toungue or piercings wrong (i dont usually use either of those words). n e ways i was thinking about having that done when i am older. so what i want to know is what do u think about chicks with their tongue pierced. does it make her a freak (sexually), u dont care, is she wild, is she rebllious, or what? i want it done cuz i think they look cool, and it makes u look like u may have a bad side to u (which i do, but i dont mean it in a prideful type of way). just wanted to let u know im not doing it 4 n e one but myself. and plus how do u spell n.e. one?

I have a tongue piercing. It doesn't "make" me anything. I am an individual who happens to like body jewelry. I have never had it do anything bad to my teeth and/or gums. In fact I have eerily perfect teeth. My tongue is also fine. In addition, any hole you make in your body is going to close up eventually in almost every instance. Your body does that automatically. I have my piercings for ME, and if someone doesn't like them, he/she can stay the hell away from me. I would never associate with someone so closed minded.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that it makes a girl very unattractive. It doesn't look cool at all, it looks foolish, and that's the meaning I project onto the girls that have it done. The same with eyebrow, lip, cheek, and vaginal piercings. The only ones I find attractive are ear and navel piercings. If you have a "bad" side, it's better to keep it hidden until you really want it to show, and then your actions will speak louder than your piercings. You will reduce your opportunities to get a good job, and you will limit the number of people, both male and female, that might be interested in you as a friend. "Tongue" and "anyone" are the correct spellings for those words, if you're really interested.

Well I work as a dental hygienist and have for 10 years and I get to see alot of the "other side" of oral peircings, as in what if can do in a detrimental way to your tongue and your teeth. I think that you should take that in to consideration when considering getting one. I have seen some very scarey permanent damage especially to the tongue and teeth. If you are planning on having one done make sure you find someone to do it that knows what the heck they are doing and uses the proper techniques. Not trying to scare you jsut saying, make an educated decision on this. Personally I think that tongue rings in straight men are pretty hot. Since I am not interested in women I cant really tell ya there, but I will say that I am sure if they are as pleasurable for men as they are for women, your significant other would really appreciate it, if you know what I mean.

I think they're very sexy and since I've never kissed a girl with one, it really makes me want to kiss the girl wearing it. But I'm only 18, I'm not a grown up like some of these other people. Judging by that, I'd say that people my age (and yours) will find it hot but as we grow older, it will seem more juvenile and silly. And I don't know about the lady above me that it doesn't heal because someone who answered ur question said they had it done twice..why would she do it again if it hadn't closed? doesnt make sense. it can cause dental problems though.

I'm against it. I hear from men who have direct experience that the pierced experience isn't much better than similar experience from a non-pierced woman. However, they do tend to view a woman with a pierced tongue as sexually easy, and probably with some self-esteem issues if the one thing she does to enhance herself in the eyes of men is a piercing to increase their sexual pleasure. Is that how you want men to view you, as someone whose main value is sexual?

My dentist, however, wholeheartedly approves of pierced tongues, because that brings him a lot of cracked-tooth business. A crown is painful and costs about $1200.

NO! ew i think that it is totally gross it is totally disgusting, ew you cnt talk you cant eat it is just a pain in the ***. EW! of you want to get it u betta be pretty darn sure cause once you get it u have it forever. it is not like getting your ears pierced, when you leave ur earring out for a while the hole closes, that dosen't happen with tounge piercings so u betta think real well b4 u get it.i think as i said many times b4 that it is disgusting!!!

properly i'm 28 and that i've got had my toungue pierced before. I have been given mine whilst i became into 21 yet I took it out in 2006 because of the fact I merely have been given tied of it. anyhow, when I have been given mine pierced sure it did swell up, i could no longer consume something for like a million day, they informed me to easily consume drinks like jello or popsicles, and likely I did communicate slightly humorous interior the commencing up, yet i did no longer have no lisp like some human beings are asserting. that's so untrue! because of the fact have self assurance me if i could have had a lisp i could've took it out an prolonged time in the past! Then for paintings purposes i could merely get a sparkling ball so no you would be able to be certain I had my tounge pierced. The downfalls, properly in specific situations whilst i could consume it did no longer take place for all time, yet i could clamp on the ball whilst i could consume with my back teeth, unfortunatley it chipped! yet of direction I have been given it fastened. Then they say it takes the teeth off your teeth. And now that I even have taken it out, I even have certainly one of those little piece of meat that merely kinda seems cracked.. i don't be attentive to how different's human beings tounges appeared after disposing of their piercings.. yet besides it extremely is as much as you.. merely needed to proportion my innovations. :)

I agree it's disgusting! When I see a girl with one I automatically think "Lesbian"!! Find something else to spend your money on, or better yet start a savings account! I hate Tatoos on girls too by the way!!

ive had mine pierced twice, first time was fun. Second time they hit a nerve now my taste buds are all messed up. Good luck
