How to treat alcohol-damaged brain?

What are the ways or, if there are any medications to treat and cure the damaged brain from drinking too much of alcohol?

Fish oil has shown great results with alcoholics and speed freaks in restoring brain function.

I've also replaced vegetable oil in cooking with olive oil or canola oil and switched from margarine to butter.

I also use melatonin to ensure proper sleep.

I didn't believe in the natural supplement route until my nurse practitioner suggested it; I tried it and had excellent results.
