Or are there rare cases of theists who actually try to answer you, without the use of the bible, quran or/and any of the spiritual scriptures of the like ???
---I mean no offense to any/all religions and their believers.
---I just want to mix it up a bit !
If anybody is offended by my question, forgive me,and don't answer such questions which can possibly offend you !

If every case can be found in bible, sutra, Koran etc. The book will be very huge and use up your whole life still cannot finish the reading. Even the budaist sutras, none can finished the reading within 100 years. These books are for our reading and understand the meaning. sometimes words are not understand. Such as fire, the word will not burn you finger but real fire will.
And the reality is changing, the books were written long time ago, will we be the same as per the book?

Atheists would make complete sense to people who didn't know any better. I'm not trying to offend you but if you look at it, what they are saying has been taught in schools, on TV, and everywhere else. Those who study the bible has the option to do so and would only make sense to those who read it also because that's something that they were taught. Aside from teaching us how to love and respect each other through the love of Jesus Christ and the belief in the God Almighty, it also gives us proof of history most high school books don't even touch. Answers that atheist give are temporary and can change with time, more discovery, or depending on who you ask. The answers in the bible are consistent.

Thanks for the generalized compliment, but there are many others here who are not atheists and who excell at giving good solid answers. The flame wars between atheists and fundamentalist Christians usurps too much time here in the R&S forum and many Pagans, Wiccans, Buddhists, etc. don't get the attention they deserve. If you want a broader spectrum of opinions, try asking for non-Christians in the headline of your question.

I guess if you are looking for answers to agree with your reasoning (If this is what you meant to be "reasonable"), than it is most likely that you will find "a reasonable answer" from those you identify with.
Question wise: If you are looking for an intelligent person to answer your questions, it depends on their knowledge of interests. I don't believe there is an Atheist Book of Knowledge on the market to quote from, so I assume that is a good reason why they would not quote one.
But the Religion & Spirituality forum are for legitimate Q's & A's, and if you read the "reasonable" questions, you will see some "reasonable" answers based off of their beliefs.
I find it difficult to agree with you that it is not reasonable based on someone else's belief system.

I would go for atheists, because agnostics seem to be a fearful lot that are afraid to admit which way they are leaning just in case by some miracle God is a reality. I don't admire cowardice, or playing it safe.

There are sensible believers out here, but it often stupefies how they will so often resort to quoting "holy" texts that only their ilk believe in. These books are not fact, nor are they accepted by those outside their belief system. IN a debate with like-minded persons, it would be sensible, but it will not persuade those on a differing path.

I make it a point never to answer any question on this forum by quoting religious script. I say what I mean. We are not as rare you might think. We are out there.

No, agnostics are the only ones who can such as myself. We don't base our conclusions on faith and/or belief which is highly illogical.

Percentage wise I would agree, but there are some of every group who give good, thoughtful answers, those are usually the moderate people.
