At the moment ... "The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control." Galations 5:22-23
This is the embodiement of how Christians should act. Not just towards certain people, that is not what this says. This is what your life will show, this is the evidence of what you are. You do not need to run out and scream the bible form the top building. You just need to bear the fruits.

My verse would be Psalm 27:1, The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. He gave me this in 1997 when I was coming out of dealing with fear after receiving the Holy Ghost. I also like very much the verse, Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven. It lets me know we got to walk it and talk it and live it to be real and others to be changed from God within us. Be blessed.

There are several, but they are related:
Amos 5:21-24: "I hate, I despise your religious feasts; I cannot stand your assemblies. Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Though you bring choice fellowship offerings, I will have no regard for them. Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!
James 2:16: If one of you says to [a brother without clothes or food], "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
Luke 9:23 "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."
What they mean to me is that faith is not just about feeling relief and comfort. Real faith means acting as if it makes a difference to life, solving problems, relieving suffering, individually and at the societal level, building the kingdom of God. Like love, if "faith" is something you try to possess, you don't have it. If you live it and and really use it to actually help other people (not just preach at them), it will grow. Think like a prophet: Comfort the genuinely afflicted, and afflict the comfortable.

I agree with Kris L John 3:16 is good
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I also like Luke 18:18-27
