I don't have an answer except to tell you you are not alone. I have a 33 month old who has a very limited diet. We just accept that he won't eat many of the foods we cook/eat.
This is what we do...
- We try to make foods we think he will like, but we refuse to adjust our entire menu just for him. If he eats dinner, great, he gets a lot of praise, etc. If not... oh well. We try to have foods we know he likes relatively often, but we also have 1-3 meals a week that are 'long shots'.
- We do insist that he at least try new foods, he usually decides he likes about 50% of those first time tries.
- We don't make a habit of making special foods just for him. We are a family and so all eat the same thing. The only exception is when we have certain ethnic dishes (Indian, morrocan, etc) that have strong flavors.
- We avoid fast food when possible, mostly because we feel that if he KNOWS it is an option, he will only eat such foods. That is not to say we don't eat out, and that we don't eat junk. We just try to keep it to a minimum.

Im sorry you feel so helpless. Toddlers like to eat diffrent things and he is to young to be diagnosed with ADHA. ADHA is a label for parents. meaning that the parent cannot handle thier responsiblilty to the child so they would like to dope the child so that they can better cope with the situation. You say that you are still a kid. I am not so let me give you some advice. Do you see the child? if you do look into its eyes and try to imagine what its life would be like without you. You have a responsiblilty to this child. Sometimes children act out because they are bored or need to run out some of the energy they have. children especially toddlers eat what they want when they are hungry. there is nothing you can do about that my advice to you is for you to stop worrying and try to play with the child and make a routine with him this will ease transition from play to sleep.
good luck

LOL, I read your other questions and you remind me of my husband. Try KFC mashed potatoes or a potato bowl to get your son to eat some veggies. Otherwise, get some microwaveable foods from Wal-Mart, with turkey, mashed potatoes, chicken, etc to get him to eat healthy. Waffles, cereal, pancakes, all good healthy breakfast foods. Make some mac n cheese, give him hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Also, next time he won't sleep try turning off all the lights and t.v. etc. Then take him and lay down in the bedroom and pretend to sleep. He'll get the hint, and within 15 mintues or so should fall asleep also. This works for my 25 month old son and 13 month old daughter. LOL, if you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me.

He does NOT have ADHD!!! You need to stop feeding him junk food and sweets!!! Change the diet change the behavior.
You put food in front of him and if he doesn't like it - save it for the next meal and keep repeating this until he finally eats it and he will eat it because he's hungry (no snacks between meals!).
Boys are naturally more active and rambunctious than girls - so it's NOT ADHD.

First, stop feeding the him fast-food. Here's a good site for food guidelines. The link below will lead you directly to an age-by-age guide to feeding. You can also do searches under the toddler section for picky eaters, and get meal ideas as well.
Hope this helps

Well, best thing for you to do would be stuff thats already cooked, that you dont really have to do much to. Try stuff like frozen chicken nuggets, pizza, fish sticks, etc. Theyre good for them and kids love them. As for snacks, try cut pieces of fruit or granola bars, or sugar free packs of gummies. And breakfast, try yogurt, or cereal, etc. Just try to watch the kid's sugar intake. And try to put him on a sleep schedule. Make a pattern of it, that way he will learn what time he needs to go to bed by, that way you and him both get a decent amount of sleep. Hope this helps! And good luck!
And dont worry, it will get easier!

Ask your son's pediatrician for a sample diet or at the veyr least, a list of appropriate foods.
you aren't screwing him up. But a well rounded diet is a good thing.
Skip the junk. Maintain a consistent sleeping schedule. This will make both of your lives better.

Only a professional can diagose adha or adhd not you. Try not to give the kid so much sugar or junk food at night. Kids eat what they see their parents eating if you eat junk so will they and kids its bs that they don't like fruits and vegetables its the parents who don't like them. they are children they don't know what they like or don't like we teach them their eating habits and any other habit for that matter. Talk to his pediatrician he or she will give you guide of what the kid should eat
