Mine was a Caribbean cruise. Jamaica Grand cayman Islands all you can eat food. Pool by day and casino by night, and a $800 liquor bill. That was for 2 I'm not that big of a slush.

Oh yeah I got to swim with the stingrays and a little bit after I got back is when Steve Irwin was killed by one. That made me question that excursion.

You sound like you've been dealt a pretty rough hand from a pretty rough chick; does she still seem to love you despite all this? My brother had an Italian wife that was similar in some respects, along with the one kid, but their relationship ended up ending over it. Too many biased rules with someone who had no interest of changing. Maybe you could try counselling? It doesn't sound like you guys planned for kids (I may be wrong?) but at any rate, slipping you drugs doesn't seem cocher; I would have hit the roof about that for one thing. The jealousy thing needs to stop too - jealousy can be one of those ugly things that can eat your personality up entirely with the conspiracies and imagined scenarios and such...have you tried having your friends around for dinner on a few occasions, especially couples where the women can all hang out in one area and the guys in another? Maybe you could pre-arrange the women to drop a bit of a hint that she's overprotective of you and needs to let you have some space.... At any rate, it sounds like a holiday could do you very good...if shes just come back from one and the kid isn't a hassle, shes got no real card to play aside from pettyness. Just mind that if it comes to an argument, she may be the 'over the top' type that might not be there, or the kid for that matter, when you come back, so make sure this isnt too much of a surprise. Good luck at any rate

Mine is actually a lot similar to yours Scooby, except I wasn't on a cruise. I went down to the Virgin Islands and the island of St. Croix because we had a friend that had moved down there and he invited us to come. I too went swimming with stingrays just mere weeks before the Steve Irwin incident. Here I was swimming right over the top of them, not knowing in the least that they could kill me! You know the best thing about the trip though? They could care less if you are 21 or 12 as far as alcohol goes! It was pretty cheap on the island too.

Alaska Cruise, with inland Trip. Out of Cell Phone range so no calls from the office.
Lots of beautiful sights and excursions. Even won $500 ship money for a blackjack tourney. Way cool paid for most of my drinking. We had a party of 4 so did have to put out some money.
Best time was just spending it with my family.

We went to the Canadian Rockies when I was 6 years old. We mostly hiked and just checked out the awesome scenery. I remember going to this pool of natural hot springs after walking all day in the mountains. The mist from the hot water and cool mountain air was surreal. I don't think I've ever slept so well in my life as I did that night. We saw so many cool animals and got to slide down troughs in a glacier in our shorts. That was my favorite vacation.
Being out of cell range DOES rule. My wife and I bought a modest lake cabin last fall and there is no cell coverage there. I'm NOT getting the land line connected either.
It's a sad thing when perfectly good produce goes bad!

First time was a blast, won a hundred smakeroos in the first slot machine I found, then gave it back.
The Nascar store was a blast, along with their roller coaster.
NewYork NewYorks roller coaster was also a blast.
The Stratasphere rides really were scary!
Buffet of nothing but lobster at the Rio was killer, gained 5 pounds from porking out, on the butter.
My first trip to the ocean in Florida was great fun, saw some very interesting people. Never made it to the Daytona track, and sadly it was in February too, back then I wasn't interested in the best sport in the whole wide world. Would love to go back.

My favorite vacation is either when I went to Oak Island North Carolina. That was the most fun I had ever had I slept on the beach! I went crab hunting, I built sandcastles, and lots of other things! Another great vacation was when I went to Arizona that was lots of fun! We got to go to the Grand Canyon, we camped somewhere near the Canyon and it was cold there but through the day it was like 110 degrees that was the only bad thing!!

The one I just returned from. I flew to the states and picked up my new Harley and then rode to my parents house. The next day, my father and I took a cross country trip on the bikes. We've been saying that we should do something like this for a long while, and I'm glad we finally did it. Life's too short to keep saying "we'll do that later".
2 weeks on a Harley, no phones, no deadlines, and no particular place to go rules!!!

(aaricka: I've been a spectator a couple of times to the across Iowa ride! Cool!)
My best vacation was a 10 day trip to Trinidad/Tobago. It was SO laid back and relaxing! Plus they have the decimal dollar system so buying things with their money was easier than in some of the Dutch islands! We toured a nature preserve, did beach bum things in Tobago, went to a soccer playoff game between two South American countries, it was great.

Haven't been on a real vacation since '98, & that included the 600 at Charlotte. Before that, the Brickyard in '94.
Other than that, a bunch of long weekends to hit Michigan or Pocono, and a LOT of "working vacations" @ The Glen.
