I know adults should have around 64 oz. of water a day. What is appropriate for a 5-year old?

Ideally, everyone should have one half their body weight in ounces per day. If the child ways 40 pounds, he or she should have 20 ounces per day. If an adult weighs 150 pounds they should consume 75 ounces per day.
