Are you hoping to learn something from atheists here that will liberate you from the constant writhing in original and other sin that you are obliged to do by your religion?

Because I can write about these subjects all I want to & not be told to shup up or hear, "You have nothing to say.".
So? It is therapy for me. I love to talk about God, but many people have cut me off soo much that I don't talk about God to others that much.
But I can write & write & write. It is therapy for me.
I have learned much. More truth by some who answer true. And also excuses by unbelievers. And I realize they are the same truth & the same excuses that others have cut me off with or led me in Gods truth with. I can discern answers really easily, where they are wrong or right, or just being awnry, or loving, etc... I have learned much. And I know that some people on here are very manipulated by the media propoganda.
As a Christian, Jesus has saved me from my sins. Thou my corruptable body does perish, I look forward for this physical body of corruption to put on incorruption & be whole; body, soul & spirit.

A Christian to be in this section might just be looking to gather information from other Christians. Or perhaps they are just looking to see what others feel. They might even be here to help young Christians develop. I would ask the more interesting question here. Why would an Atheist be here? Would it not be more likely for them to be in a science forum confirming what they "know" as fact with more "inteligent" people. Not here yelling from the mountain tops that Christians are crazy nuts. Who is the Nut the guy who's crazy or the guy who argues with him?

It's sad to see such a lost soul searching for answers with hatred. Do you have nothing better to do than to try to start fights with Christians in a yahoo answers group...?Some life you got there buddy. I'm sure you're really happy with yourself.

I personally reject the concept of original sin as taught in the Catholic church. Every man is accountable before God for his own sin.
I am here to liberate people from spiritual ignorance and to introduce them to Christ who alone has the power to forgive men of their sin and offer them eternal life.
Atheists have no hope because they have no God. Without God there is only life in the flesh. The Bible clearly states that no man who walks after the flesh can please God and that the carnal (flesh oriented) life is offensive to God and is at enmity with Him.

A more appropriate question would be: what is an Atheist doing in the religion and spirituality section....but I would never be so rude as to ask.

Now that's an original question. Hmm, I don't think I've answered one like it in the last....10 minutes!
Here's the answer I posted then. (So thanks for another 2 points.)
"Because many who are in here are actually looking for guidance in their lives and answers regarding God and Christ. So we're here to help them however we can. (Not everyone is here to bash Christianity and call Christians derogatory names.)"

Haha... wow, this question is usually the other way around.
Good point though... after all, if its all about faith, why come and argue with people... or why come to gain more facts... so you don't have to have as much faith?

Yeah...that must be it.
Nope, I'm here to learn from everyone. And I don't need to be "liberated." I was "liberated" almost nine months ago when I became a Christian, thanks.
