If you ask me.Weight training,which can be done with a pair of dumbells at home,no need of any fancy machines.There are a lot of exercises that you can do with dumbells.Just ask a friend who is familiar with weights to demonste some exercises for you.Besides,you can do some running once or twice a week to improve your stamina.

walking is the best, 30 minutes at a brisk pace every day. biking, swimming, dancing, aerobics are all good, too. just get up and move!
