my a/c power turns on and lights up but the a/c dosnt blow any air out or make any noise. what could be the problem?

is oit in a car? if not then theyres too much lint or theres something blocking it fom the outside

Remember when it worked?
what happened when it reached the temp set on the thermostat?
Did the power light stay lit, or did it go off?
If it stayed lit, and the thermostat is set at a low temp, then you have a thermostat problem.
If it went off, then u may have a compressor issue.
Usually there are two motors, fan and compressor.
If neither are running, no noise, then there may be an overload or thermal protect switch out.
If it is only one motor, a starter cap, a bad protect switch, or a jammed compressor would do it.

You should take your car to an auto shop and tell the mechanic that your car needs freon gas for your a/c.
