Killing someone is OBVIOUSLY worse. You can't restore the person's life. But if you blaspheme, you can always apologize to God for it afterward.
This is like comparing apples to lug nuts.

I'm not the least-bit bothered by 3 thumb's-downs. But I have to wonder about the mentality of anyone who'd give one, after I stated something so very OBVIOUS.
(LOL!!!)

The worst of all sins is to sin against the Holy Spirit. Read Mark 3:28, 29: Truly I say to you that all things will be forgiven the sons of men, no matter what sins and blasphemies they blasphemously commit. However, whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin.

Which would you rather have happen to you? Would you rather someone kill you, or say something to you that you didn't agree with?
Your answer will become obvious.
edit: Note that Christians have already answered, "All sin is equal before God". Others claim that blasphemy is worse. That is a perfect example of the incredibly hollow basis of Christian morality. I prefer to base my morality on sound principles. My example above demonstrates how it works.
Check this out:
"god does not exist"
I have just now done something worse than killing a person according to Christian doctrine.
Unf*ckingbelievable.

God is a righteous judge, all sin carries the same weight. It is the repentance of it that is different. Murder requires confession to the police to repent, adultry is confession to spouse, lies are confession to those lied to, stealing is the returning and confession to the one stolen from, and possibly the police. All sin carries different consequences.
But in the end, all sin is equal before the eyes of the Lord.

It is "murder" in our faith. WORDS, do not take life nor "insults" God, it is the ACTION put behind them that he condemns for it leads to KILLING.....
Jesus even said this. "It is not what goes INTO the man that defiles him, it is what comes OUT that defiles him." Matt 15:11
Not the exact words but you get the point. We can "listen" to anything in this world, but if we act upon words in anger, it is what invokes hate and hate invokes MURDER...........

God understands a blasphemer better than anyone else. That is forgivable, in God's eyes, but not in the eyes of many so called believers. If you kill in self defense, God understands and will forgive before the person who had to defend his/her own life, or child's life, forgives them self. Murder is not forgivable. God knows how to deal with that, too.

Thanks for your msg to me on this- both are forgiveable by Jesus, and the law holds murder worse
well if one kills a person, unless they know Jesus that is worst of all
and when they say blasheme is unforgiveable it is when it is against believing in Jesus and dying that way against the Holy Spirit knockin on our heart to come to Jesus
Since Jesus died for all our sins-its not a sin question but a son question-will we accept his love and forgiveness.
the only unforgiveable sin is to die rejecting Jesus-he cant forgive us if we dont accept the forgiveness
For the wages of sin is separation from God/death, but the gift (free has to be accepted cant be earned) of God is everlasting life in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Romans 6:23
I use to use Jesus name as a cuss word, Im born Jewish and taught to reject Jesus and his salvation.
but the day came when I prayed- "Jesus im sorry for my sins, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen."
he promised this in Revelation 3:19&20 "I love you, repent and turn to me quickly from your sin, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock, if you ask me, I will come in and be your friend."
prayin for you David as you msgd me and asked-let me hear from you again too, and relax-Jesus got you covered, Just let him

All sin results in separation from God, which means death. So not sin is greater or worse. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the redeemer. The only sin that is unforgivable is not believing... rejecting the spirit.
