It means that those who are wise will learn and understand the meaning of 666.

Revelation 13:18 is preserved exactly as John intended it. It is given in such plainness and simplicity that even a child could have figured it out, but few (if any) have. This is because we as a people and our leaders do not have “understanding.”

I too was the blind being led by the blind, stumbling forward in the dark. I now know the meaning of the number. The truth is taught in a book titled: 666, The Mark of America, Seat of the Beast.


Here is an excerpt:

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Here John capitalizes on the metaphors, symbolism, and figurative expressions borrowed from the Old Testament. He knew that only those who are wise and have a proper understanding of truth would be able to make the connection between the riddle he gives here and the reality of what the “number of the beast” is.

Look carefully at the actual text and you will note that John did not write “666 (“six hundred threescore and six”) is the mark of the beast, nor did he say “666” is the number of the beast. He specifically and purposefully wrote that the number “666 corresponded to” the “number of the beast which is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six.” Neither did John say: “..is the number of man (as in ‘mankind’),” but he specifically wrote: “…is the number of a man,” meaning a particular man.

That particular man to whom John was pointing those “who hath understanding,” is Solomon. “His number” corresponds to “money” as in the amount of “gold” he received in a one-year period:

“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold.” (I Kings 10:14)

Oh my gooooddddd!!!!!!!! you certainly have too much spare time on your hands as they say, no idea who they are though, maybe they are the inventors that thought up all the really groovy and down right what a lot of nonsense things like all the stuff you are babbling about. And yes as a matter of fact l did know that 666 is not the number of the devil silly, every body including me knows that 666 is 333 plus 333! Man, you really have way to much time on your hands, try finding a hobbie, something you're interested in, that might help.

im not to sure but 666 has been known as the number of the best or the devil but in all actuality the number is 999 cause of the fact we perceive things upside down but our retinas when taking in a image flips it for our view of being right side up so in lameness terms everything is actually the other way around
