Usually two people having the same dream is confirmation that a certain event will happen. God could be warning you and letting you know in advance to get ready. Also, don't be shocked.

You were both probably abducted by aliens. Just joking. Not much from legit research has found an answer to this shared-dream phenomenon. The only drug known to induce shared- dream that research has solidly identified is during group peyote ingestion. Psychology hypothesizes that shared daily sensory input can induce shared dream experiences. I haven't a clue, personally, though. I keep reading about the phenomenon from a cultural perspective through many civilizations. But, I haven't found a commonality, yet to lead me to even a guess. Just enjoy.

isn't it weird how those things happen! once before i was born, my whole family on my mom's side was at a family reunion, and they spent the night wherever they were. in the morning one person said they had a dream about driving up to a wobbly plank bridge that was across a huge river. EVERYONE had the same dream! and now everyone in the family (including the ones that weren't there) have had that dream at least twice. all the same. true story!

Dreams are usually about emotion that you didn't process during the day. You and your girlfriend likely had the same emotional reaction an event that you experienced together. Something died, which is why you're dreaming about a funeral. Not necessarilly a person, maybe a hope or a situtuation or a cherished notion or idea.
The fact that she was comforting you meant that something died for you and she was giving you support.

I don't know that is weird. Me and my cousin were pregnant at the same time and we had our baby's on the same day, well one night during our pregnancy we had a similar dream, we have always been very close. I think that when people are close they have like a link some how.

Me and my mom had the same dream on the same night. It was about my grandmother, we dreamed that she passed away and we didn t know how because she was healthy. Well a few days later we told each other about it and we started crying. my grandmother lives next door to us and we couldn t tell her because we dont want her to worry. What does this mean?

That's scary! But it could have been that you fell asleep thinking about the same thing--something that happened in real-life.
