My friend thinks it would be cool to hotwire her car instead of paying big bucks. I have been working on the brakes but want to setup some switches for her new flip-switch ignition. The only problem is i don't know which wires they are, there are so many in the engine compartment. She has a 95 Nissan Altima GXE. It's basically a junker and i'm sure that's why she doesn't mind. haha (no plan to resell it).

So if anyone can please help me please her by directing me to finding the right wires or even just the colors, i'd know what to do once i found them. All input is greatly appreciated.

Hmm.. not sure it's a good idea, but if you want the wires to play with you can take apart the steering column cover and the under dash cover directly beneath that. Once these are removed you'll see a small metal cylinder attached to the end of where you stick your key into to start the car. I think there are something like 6 wires coming out of this. Those are the ones you need to play with in order to make your own push button ignition.
