i personally think its a turn on. i hate guys who try to act all tough. just be yourself. sensitivity is a turn on that not all guys can show, however, there is a crossing point of oversensitive

I would say crying is a human emotional release. I honestly do not view it differently if a guy cries compared to if a woman cries, we both go through tough times in our lives we are allowed to cry. It does not make us any less of a person to cry and release our emotions. I have always respected anyone who cries, man or woman, over something that has deeply affected them in their life. But if someone is crying over some trivial BS, I'm not so sympathetic. (That goes for man or woman).

I do respect a guy that cries when it is appropriate. When my husband cries because we have a small argument it is a turn off, but when he cries over something like the birth of our child, or a death then I highly respect his ablility to be in touch with his emotions

Let me put this into perspective for you:

My boyfriend of four years (likely my future husband) suffers from depression. Before this year, it was rare that he cried, but when he did, it was when he was feeling very low. He was embarrassed about it, and it made him feel even worse.

After an . . . unfortunate event in our relationship, we both agreed to seek counseling. Since he started counseling, he's been crying more. He was freaked out by it, but I felt it was good for him. It meant he was letting out his frustrations more. He talked to his counselor, and she agreed it was healthy.

Crying, as most women would attest, is very therapeutic. It's healthy. It vents frustration. It's a way of letting it out rather than bottling it up, which anyone can tell is unhealthy.

I respect a guy who can cry and still be confident in his masculinity. I respect a guy who doesn't think that weakness is unmanly.

It depends on the situation if it a reasonable reason I consider it perfectly fine, and I would never consider a man a wuss for crying but I do think that sometimes there is no reason for anyone to cry, If this is a situation about someone you can ask them anonymously using http://hikkup.com and they can tell u if they think of it that way

i think when a guy crys its cute. but if he crys too much then it makes him look like a wuss. and if a guy never crys it seems like he doesnt have a sensitive side at all, which can sometimes be a turn off

I would say it depends on why he's crying. I've never seen my boyfriend cry yet but have seen other men in my life (my father, grandpa, etc). I think it the situation calls for it it's perfectly acceptable. Women understand the need to cry, why can't men? Lots of my girlfriends say when they watch movies that have men crying in them it tears them apart because you know something generally has to be really bad to make a guy cry. Basically, it makes me think of them as being more sensitive which is really sweet to see occassionally since most guys spend most of the time trying to be macho.

I love a man who cries. It shows that he's not afraid to cry sometimes. I have a lot of respect for him. :)

Depends on what he cries about and how often--if it's at the drop of a hat, well, then, no. If it's for real emotional serious stuff, then, yeah.
