I'd like to think I've made some friends. At least, there are people from R&S that I communicate with through email and IM, whom I respect very much. I hope the feeling is mutual.

I'd go to UFO's cookout!
No, I haven't, although I am on friendly terms with a lot of people here. But I've been around for only 6 weeks.
There are a few people who I regularly email about things that are on my mind usually related to R&S, philosophy or ethics but usually I'll put up a question if I have something to say.

People in church say they have a lot faith but actually most don't. Its just they don't want to admit it. They have faith for some things, but not necesarily faith for things like healing. Most people don't and they don't care greatly anyway as they aren't suffering themselves, and don't have relatives in dire need. This is because most christians if we are being honest are pretty "carnal". If you are young there is absolutely no reason for you dying. Jesus healed many people, there is no case of him turning someone away. Sometimes whole crowds came and it says He healed them all - i.e all who sought healing got healed. And many would have conditions far less taxing than yours. Acts 10:38 "Jesus went about doing good and healing *all* who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him". Have you read lots of healing books. They will help you see what has been won for you by Jesus and give you loads of testimonies. Its hard to have faith without seeing and accepting that Jesus has done it for us, and seeing stories of people receiving. Yes i have made a few friends although I have never met in person. But it is more of a logistic thing. I am in Canada and and I thik most of you re in the U.S. and other countries. I still think of these people as friends though although I think at times it would be fun if we all had a massive chat room with webcams or some other form of link.

there is actually only one person who i talk to outside of R&S, other than the weekly conspiracy meeting. i'm pagan, he's atheist. i haven't met him in person, and probably never will because we live quite far away.
i would love to go to UFO's cookout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe yahoo should sponsor a meet and greet somewhere and offer free airfare to all regulars over a certain level
