In a few days I am sitting for the Illinois Bar Exam and let me tell you - I am exhausted from all the studying and the practice tests. Honestly, it is as bad as people say it is!
So, I was wondering if any folks out there would be kind enough to send out a prayer for my success. As I get to a saturation point with information it seems to me that I need a little divine intervention.
I appreciate anyone who is kind enough to do this for little ol me - hopefully another future law license holder.
Best wishes, David

- You shouldn't judge so fast. An assumption all lawyers are bad is strange as without lawyers there could be no democracy and no protection for the weak or victimized.
Yet let me agree with the twisting the truth idea as the old saying goes that lawers are more comfortable with facts than with the truth. Mainly, thats because nobody knows the truth but the people being represented, and one of them is usually acting more truthful than they really are.

Mhaerie - Thanks for that great prayer. It really sums it up well. BTW - the rest thing is brutal, sleeping is on and off at best!

Lord, I pray that you will fill David with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Bless his efforts and the time he has spent preparing to serve You. Give him a sharp memory, a spirit of calm, and plenty of rest, as well as thought processes that are discerning, clear, and logical, so that he will successfully pass the bar exam. I pray this in order that he may live a life worthy of You, Lord, and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that he may have great endurance and patience; And joyfully giving thanks to You, Father, who has qualified David to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Bless him indeed, Lord, so that he might fulfil the plan and purpose you have for his life. Amen!

Can't promise the prayer but seems to me you are well prepared and there is no reason in the world that you won't breeze right through the whole exam. You know you can do it, so just go and do it!

Snopes says she passed the Arkansas bar exam but failed the DC bar exam. They quote journalist Carl Bernstein. 551 of her peers passed out of 817 applicants. She never tried to take the DC bar exam again.

Consider it done David. I have prayed for your guidance during the test and your career.
Advice for state testing: read each question at least twice before answering. I have found that in state tests they try to trick you by the wording.

I will pray for you David. If God called on you to be a lawyer, then it's His Will.
Everyone needs divine intervention, trust me.

How is your bar exam promoting God's Kingdom of God?
Jesus told us we can ask anything of God as long as it is according to His will. His will is for everyone to come to an accurate knowledge of Him. Will you be promoting God's Kingdom or filling your pockets with money?
Most lawyers twist the truth until it isn't the truth any longer.
I will pray for you to come to know God"s mind on most matters.

A prayer for a lawyer?
Isn't that like singing a song for a deaf person?
Aw shucks. OK. Good luck. Please use your powers for good and not to sue people out of their homes over silly stuff.
